Hillwright Kuykendall

In 1949, Hillwright Kuykendall donated the land for what is now Cedar Creek and White Oak Cemetery. Being the first laid to rest on this piece of land, his hope was to give his family and extended family a picturesque and peaceful place to visit loved ones that have passed.

70 years later, this website was developed to continue his vision and legacy of giving surviving family and friends a new avenue to remember and honor the ones from days gone by.

You can find Hillwright's original headstone located at the east side, marking the first to be buried on the property.
